At Rec Pier Chop House, Chef Andrew Carmellini brings his soulful, urban Italian cooking to an American landmark by specializing in prime steaks and chops. The menu features locally-sourced ingredients, sustainable seafood, farm-raised organic poultry, and some of the country’s best beef from James River, Virginia and Donnely Ranch, Nebraska along with the irresistible pastas that Carmellini is best known for. Since first partnering in 2009, Chef Andrew Carmellini, Josh Pickard and Luke Ostrom of NoHo Hospitality Group have established a collection of restaurants and culinary services for hotels and live music venues. Their award-winning venues include Locanda Verde, The Dutch in New York City and Miami Beach, Joe’s Pub, The Library at The Public, Lafayette, Bar Primi, Little Park, Evening Bar, Westlight, Mister Dips and Leuca. Rec Pier Chop House offers accommodations for parties of eight or more on its semi-private dining terrace where Chef Carmellini’s custom family-style menus are served at a communal farm table overlooking the main dining room and Thames Street below.
